PUBLIC NOTICE
SEWICKLEY HEIGHTS CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION
Please be advised that the Sewickley Heights Civil Service Commission will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. at the Borough Hall, 238 Country Club Road, Sewickley PA 15143. This meeting is open to the public. At this meeting, the Civil Service Commission will (i) discuss and, if deemed appropriate, recommend to the Sewickley Heights Borough Council an amendment to the Amended and Restated Rules of the Civil Service Commission of the Borough of Sewickley Heights, to modify the process applicable to the hiring of a Chief of Police, and (ii) take any other such action and consider any other such business that may be necessary. The Civil Service Commission will thereafter meet on an as-needed basis. Any future meetings of the Civil Service Commission will be advertised in accordance with the Pennsylvania Sunshine Act.
