 SEWICKLEY HEIGHTS BOROUGH


At its regular meeting to be held on January 15, 2018, at 4:30 p.m. in Council Chambers, the Council of the Borough of Sewickley Heights will hold a public hearing on and consider an application filed by Thressia A. Kriebel requesting conditional use approval for a Special or Studio School on property located at 126-128 Barberry Road in the Borough’s A Historical-Rural Residential District, currently designated as Allegheny County Block/Lot No. 605-C-35.  The application is made pursuant to Section 4.04, Table 2, and Article 12 of the Borough’s Amended and Restated Zoning Ordinance No. 294.

  

At the conclusion of the public hearing, Borough Council may take action on the application.  The public is invited to attend and participate in the hearing.  A copy of the application is on file at the Borough Hall, 238 Country Club Road, Sewickley, PA 15143, and may be examined by members of the public during the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays.

Fetterolf and Theresa E. Fetterolf (property located at 528 Scaife Road, Sewickley, PA 15143) of a Notice of Violation/Cease and Desist Order dated October 5, 2017 issued by the Borough of Sewickley Heights.  The Board will also consider any other matters that come before the Board.

Fetterolf (property located at 528 Scaife Road, Sewickley, PA 15143 in the A-Historical-Rural Residential District) of a Notice of Violation/Cease and Desist Order dated October 5, 2017 issued by the Borough of Sewickley Heights, specifically addressing use of the property as a “Place of Worship,” “Place of Assembly,” “Commercial Venue/Event Space,” and “Special or Studio School” as either not permitted on the property, or permitted only as a conditional use.  The appeal also includes a substantive validity challenge to portions of the Borough’s Amended and Restated Zoning Ordinance No. 294.  The Board will also consider any other matters that come before the Board.
